Chris Hunter

Bio

Chris Hunter, a Cincinnati native, stands as a seasoned coach and sports professional with a comprehensive background in athletic coaching and administration. Graduating from Sycamore High School, he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration from the University of Cincinnati, followed by a Master's of Education degree in Sports Administration from Xavier University.
Initiating his coaching career in 2005 with Track & Field and Football in 2006 at Sycamore, Chris showcased his coaching prowess. In 2014, he transitioned to Fairborn, coaching football, and heading the Boys' Track & Field program in 2017. Following a hiatus in 2018 to complete his Master's degree, Chris coached for two years at Dayton Archbishop Carroll High School, enriching his coaching experience.
His journey took a strategic turn as Chris then assumed the role of Associate Athletic Director with Dayton Public Schools. This position allowed him to delve into the administrative intricacies of managing athletic programs, broadening his perspective on sports administration.
In 2022, Chris returned to Fairborn, resuming coaching responsibilities. His coaching philosophy centers around holistic athlete development, emphasizing not just athletic skills but life skills like teamwork and resilience. Beyond coaching, Chris actively engages in fishing with his wife.
